MCDONALD HOMECOMING FESTIVAL: McDonald will host its annual summer homecoming festival Wednesday through Friday at Woodland Park off Ohio Avenue 6 to 11 p.m nightly. The festival will include bingo, amusement rides, games, food vendors and entertainment. The Run of the Mill race will be at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday followed by a parade at 6 p.m. along Ohio Avenue. On Saturday, there will be games and activities for children starting at 11 a.m. Fireworks will be at 10:15 p.m. Saturday to close the festival. POLAND — American Legion Mahoning Valley Post 15 proudly installed its newly elected officers during a formal ceremony on June 2, 2026, at the Post Home, located at 35 Cortland St. in Poland.
