Community News: Church festival set in Struthers starting Wednesday

SUMMER FESTIVAL: The St. Nicholas Church festival will take place 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 6 to 11 p.m. Friday and 4 to 11 pm. Saturday on the church grounds, 764 Fifth St., Struthers. The festival includes amusement rides, musical entertainment, baked goods and food. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens and free for children 12 and under. Billy Green, a part-time faculty member in Youngstown State University’s Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences and Education, has received the 2026 Outstanding Teacher Educator Award from the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators.
