Boardman Goodwill reopens Wednesday

The Boardman location of Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries reopens Wednesday after month long renovations, a company representative announced Monday.

When the grand reopening takes place at 10 a.m., customers will see new signage, updated registers, a spacious layout and improved shelving and flooring.

“We appreciate the support over the years that we’ve been there, and we plan to be there for many years to come,” Joseph Catullo Jr., Goodwill’s marketing and relationship coordinator, said.

Catullo said the location’s donation site is among Goodwill’s most popular.

“Boardman is one of our big hot spots here at Goodwill,” he said. “We couldn’t have done this without the donors and the customers.”

The store and donation center’s regular hours will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The store, located at 285 Boardman-Canfield Road in the Boardman Plaza, can be reached at 330-758-0282.

Other Goodwill locations in the Valley are operated in Austintown, Calcutta, Liberty, Niles, Salem and Warren with Pennsylvania stores in Greenville, Hermitage and New Castle.

“We exist because we believe in the value of people,” Catullo said.

Starting at $2.99/week.
