Dawidziak covered film and television for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Akron Beacon Journal for decades and was inducted into the Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame in 2015. The lineup for the Youngstown Soul Jam features Russell Thompkins Jr. & The New Stylistics, The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes and Mr. R&B Mark Williams.
