YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre will have auditions 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday for “Shrek Jr.”

A large cast of singers and actors ages 18 and younger are needed as well as eight to 10 dancers / tumblers ages 10 to 18.

Those auditioning for singing roles should prepare 16 bars of a song that showcases their vocal ability (do not pick a song from “Shrek the Musical”) and be prepared to read from the script and learn a small dance routine.

The musical, which will be directed by Shiloh Hart, will be staged for three public performances and a school performance in March.
