ACTS announces ‘Carousel’ auditions
ACTS (Area Community Theatre of Sharpsville) will have auditions for the musical “Carousel” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20 at its theater at 40 S. Irvine St., Sharon, Pa.
Cast requirements are six lead roles and five supporting roles in addition to a chorus open to all ages. The role of Billy Bigelow has been precast. The Rodgers & Hammerstein musical includes the songs “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “If I Loved You” and “June Is Bustin’ Out All Over.”
Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show and be prepared to read from the script and dance. For more information, email ronesio2004@yahoo.com.
