Boardman High to present ‘Project Mayhem’

“Project Mayhem” will be back indoors after a two-year hiatus.

The annual performance by the Boardman High School Rock Orchestra — which combines members of the Boardman Orchestra with student vocalists and a professional laser light show — was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year’s show was held outdoors at Spartan Stadium to allow for social distancing.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra-inspired ensemble started in 2006 and has played to capacity crowds of more than 1,600 people.

This year’s performance starts 7 p.m. Friday at Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. All seating is general admission. Tickets are $10 and are available at the main entrance (Door 1) during school hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Starting at $3.23/week.
