John Mayer, who will play Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls in September with Dead & Company, will focus on his own music for 2022 concert in Pittsburgh.

Mayer will play PPG Paints Arena on Feb. 25 in support of his new album “Sob Rock,” his first solo album since 2017’s “The Search for Everything.”

Tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

The Killers also have 2022 tour plans, but area fans will have to wait until fall to see the band’s tour in support of its new album “Pressure Machine,” slated for release on Aug. 13.

Concerts on Oct. 6, 2022, at Pittsburgh’s Petersen Events Center and Oct. 7, 2022, at Cleveland’s Wolstein Center will be among the final stops on the 30-show tour. COVID-19 wiped out the tour planned in support of its 2020 album “Imploding the Mirage,” although the band will make a couple of U.S. festival appearances this fall.

• The Beach Boys that control the name played the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on Tuesday. The Beach Boys that don’t will play Akron’s Goodyear Theater at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20, when Brian Wilson is joined by Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

• Two shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through AXS for Stage AE: Gary Clark Jr., 7 p.m. Nov. 10, $44.50-$99; Daughtry, Sevendust, Tremonti, Travis Bracht, 6 p.m. Nov. 20, $44.50-$85.

• For those who can’t see Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on Sunday at the WonderStuck music festival, the band will play the Roxian Theatre at 7 p.m. Sept. 21. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

• Saxophone player Dave Koz will be joined by Jonthan Butler, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot and Rebecca Jade for his annual Christmas tour, which comes to Cleveland’s Connor Palace at 8 p.m. Dec. 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Playhouse Square.
