Fifty years ago, Kathleen R. Woolf married Thomas R. Grecko on April 17, 1971, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. The couple, who spent their entire life residing in Youngstown, now watch over a growing extended family.

The Greckos raised three children, Roy of San Diego, Calif., Stephen of Girard and Melissa of San Diego, and are kept young by their three grandchildren, Kevin, Jason and Nathan.

While family has always been the most important focus of Tom and Kathy’s life, their dedicated work includes Tom retiring after 44 years of service from American Church / American Paper in Boardman, and Kathy working part time and volunteering for St. Nick’s Church in Struthers.

Tom and Kathy enjoy spending time with family, playing with the grandchildren, volunteering at church, gardening in the backyard and relaxing together on the front porch listening to the love songs of birds.

The Grecko family will welcome socially distant drive-by congratulations and waving at 2 p.m. April 17 at 2036 Meadowbrook Ave, Youngstown.
