Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Ewanish of Youngstown will celebrate their 60th anniversary with the blessing of their marriage vows by the Rev. Ivan Tchopko, their pastor at SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

A church luncheon will be hosted by the couple’s son, John J.

A son, Joseph J., is deceased.

Mr. Ewanish and the former Betty Maletsky were married Sept. 3, 1960, at SS. Peter and Paul, where they are members.

Joseph was president of the church for more than 20 years and Betty has been on the church board and was past president of the St. Mary Sisterhood.

Joseph retired from LTV Steel and Betty retired as a teacher’s aide from Youngstown Board of Education.
