¯ SOUTH RANGE 51, LAKEVIEW 22: BEAVER TOWNSHIP — The host Raiders strode to a 30-10 halftime lead and eased past the Bulldogs in a Northeast-8 Conference contest.

Izzy Lamparty netted 20 points, Lexi Giles followed with 13 and Gabby Lamparty supplied seven points for South Range, which moved its markers to 10-5 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

¯ GIRARD 41, JEFFERSON 32: JEFFERSON — The Indians are now on a three-game win streak after beating Jefferson.

After trailing 21-13 at the half, Girard outscored the Falcons 18-2 in the third quarter to claim the lead and hold on for the win. Marissa Cave led the Indians (7-7, 5-4 NE-8) with 12 points.

¯ WESTERN RESERVE 88, SEBRING 20: SEBRING — The visiting Blue Devils throttled the Trojans from the top-off, leading 29-6 after one period and 50-12 at intermission in a Mahoning Valley Conference mismatch.

Western Reserve improved to 12-2 overall and 8-1 in the league, as Danielle Vuletich scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.Brooke Schantz added 16 points and Olivia Pater logged 12 points and four steals.

¯ COLUMBIANA 77, WELLS-VILLE 28: WELLSVILLE — Kayla Muslovski scored 27 points for the Clippers in a big win over Wellsville. Columbiana (9-3, 6-0 EOAC) held a 33-2 lead after the first quarter. Grace Hammond added 11 points for the Clippers.

¯ NILES 48, HUBBARD 37: HUBBARD — Kayla Taylor-Hall set a program record for Niles in a league match against Hubbard.

Taylor-Hall brought down 16 rebounds, setting a new high for the Red Dragons girls basketball program and Aneziah Fryer led Niles on the scoresheet with 26 points.

Leading for the Eagles was Jackie Adler who scored 17 points, with 15 of those coming from beyond the arc.

¯ MINERAL RIDGE 33, LOWELLVILLE 23: LOWELLVILLE — The Rams outscored the host Rockets by just a little in each period, but it reulted in a 10-point victory in a Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference contest.

Samantha Kelly scored seven points and Lily Vari Coppola grabbed to rebounds to lead Lowellville, which fell to 3-10 overall and 1-7 in the conference.

¯ POLAND 81, NILES 41: NILES — Jackie Grisdale fired in 33 points, including six 3-pointers, as Poland stayed perfect in the Northeast-8 Conference. The Bulldogs, who led 19-9, 36-18 and 61-32 at the quarter breaks, are 9-2 overall and 6-0 in the NE-8.

Grisdale was supported by Connie Cougras with 11 points and Brooke Bobbey with nine.

Niles (3-10, 3-4) got a 24-point effort from Aneziah Fryer.

¯ STRUTHERS 55, HUBBARD 27: HUBBARD — Emma Elia poured in 22 points, Heike Kaurschill scored 12 and Chloe Neider added 11 as Struthers (7-5, 5-2 Northeast-8) rolled. The Wildcats trailed 8-6 after one quarter then posted leads of 25-16 at halftime and 43-19 after three quarters.

Jackie Adler led the Eagles (1-11, 0-7) with 12 points.

¯ SOUTH RANGE 60, JEFFERSON 17: BEAVER TOWNSHIP — The Raiders rolled out to a 22-2 lead after one quarter and a halftime advantage of 41-6.

Lexi Giles scored 16 points and Izzy Lamparty for the Raiders (10-4, 6-1 Northeast-8). Gabby Lamparty and Bree Kohler scored eight points each for South Range.

¯ GIRARD 45, LAKEVIEW 30: CORTLAND — Girard broke away from an 18-14 halftime advantage, outscoring Lakeview 27-16 in the second half. Lindsay Cave scored nine of her game-high 14 points in the third quarter for the Indians (5-7, 3-4 Northeast-8) and Sieasia Triplett tallied nine of her 11 in the fourth quarter. Jalaya Brown added nine points for Girard and Marissa Cave had seven.

Lakeview (1-11, 1-5 NE-8) got 10 points from Maggie Pavlansky and seven from Tiffany Bartholomew.

¯ NEWTON FALLS 39, URSULINE 37: YOUNGSTOWN — Ursuline’s furious second-half rally came up short in the non-conference battle. The Tigers (7-4) held a 26-14 lead at halftime and increased the gap to 16 points before the Irish (4-9) stormed back.

Cara McNally led Ursuline with 18 points and Anisah Moorman scored all nine of her points in the second half.

¯ SPRINGFIELD 50, LOWELLVILLE 29: NEW MIDDLETOWN — The Tigers opened leads of 19-6 after one quarter and 31-13 at halftime on the way to their third straight win. Springfield (6-7, 3-4 MVAC) was led by Jacey Mullen with 19 points, Kaila LaMorticella with nine and Kylee Kosek with eight.

Lowellville (3-8, 1-6 MVAC) got 11 points from Samantha Moore.

¯ JACKSON-MILTON 55, MINERAL RIDGE 50: NORTH JACKSON — Courtney Mercer led three Blue Jays in double figures, scoring 16 points in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference victory for J-M Abby Spalding contributed 13 points and Camryn Mitchell tallied 12.

The Blue Jays (6-3, 5-2 MVAC) trailed 30-21 at halftime, but a 21-8 third quarter put them ahead 42-38 heading into the final quarter.

Mineral Ridge (3-8, 2-5) got 16 points from Alexa Harkins, nine from Fran Kesner and eight from Candice Miller.

¯ LISBON 56, EAST PALESTINE 46: EAST PALESTINE — Izzy Perez scored 20 of her game-high 25 points in the second half to lead the Blue Devils past the Bulldogs in this Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference battle.

Joclyn Fristik paced the Bulldodgs with 19 points, while Paige Snyder added 12.

¯ COLUMBIANA 64, SOUTHERN 19: SALINEVILLE — Grace Hammond and Grace Witmer combined for 17 points in the second quarter as the Clippers breezed by the Indians 26-7 in the second quarter to pull away in this EOAC matchup.

Witmer had a game-high 25 points, while Hammond added 11 for Columbiana (9-3, 6-0 EOAC).
