CANFIELD 34, ALLIANCE 10: CANFIELD — Nick Crawford ran for 246 yards and scored four times as the Cardinals rolled past Alliance.

Crawford scored on runs of 1, 10 and 10 yards and also caught a 20-yard TD pass. Canfield (3-2) ran for 408 yards as a team, with Ethan Fletcher adding 119 yards on eight carries. He also completed both of his passes, including the TD to Crawford Canfield led 20-3 at half and essentially put the game away on an 11-yard TD run by Jackson Crist late in the third quarter.

Alliance (2-3) passed for 256 yards but ran for just 56 on 33 carries.

BENEDICTINE 42, FITCH 27: AUSTINTOWN — The passing game for Benedictine was too strong for Fitch’s ground game, as the Falcons lost their second consecutive contest to fall to 3-2.

But they gave the unbeaten Bengals a run for their money, as Devin Sherwood rushed for 156 and a pair of touchdowns. Fitch tailed 21-20 at halftime and was behind 35-27 before Bendictine scored on a 63-yard pass play in the fourth quarter.
