After Ursuline was assigned to Division IV for the upcoming football season earlier this summer, OHSAA reassigned the Irish to Division III this week after there was an error in the enrollment data that was submitted.

Per an OHSAA statement released Friday: “The OHSAA would like to clarify Thursday’s press release regarding OHSAA football divisional changes. When the new divisional alignments were announced in mid-June, Youngstown Ursuline noticed a discrepancy in the Ohio Department of Education’s enrollment report and reported it to the OHSAA. The OHSAA thanks Ursuline for their honesty and apologizes for any confusion on the nature of the divisional change.”
