Last November, I predicted that by year two of his regime Trump would begin agitating for an illegal third term. That took him less than 100 days. I also opined that, if he got a third term, he would campaign for a dynastic clause changing the Constitution to allow him to name one of his sons as his successor. Last week, Eric responded to a press question about his interest in politics that after looking at politics up close he felt qualified to replace his father, if needed, at the end of his term. What democracy? It’s already gone

DEAR EDITOR: It’s hilarious to me that people blame Trump for trying to erode our democracy. Let me inform you — it’s already gone. You see those “Flock” cameras all over Ohio and Pennsylvania? Yes, those were paid for by mostly Democratic-controlled townships and municipalities. And yes, a federal lawsuit against Flock is ongoing. Those same counties, townships and cities have patrol units with unmarked cars with jet-black windows that we would get a ticket for having window tint that dark on our cars. DEAR EDITOR: A few letters back, I discussed how, with the increase in driving during these Ohio summer days, drivers need to refresh themselves on the roadway laws. I’d like to continue that refresher training concept and share the following: Did you ever wonder why all those roadway signs are different colors? Red, blue, green, white, brown, and yellow! A peaceful march is what MLK did in the 1960s — no burning cars or attacking law enforcement, attacking stores and breaking windows, stealing from people and burning American flags, holding up other countries’ flags and showing no respect for our country.
