DEAR EDITOR: Twas the day before Christmas and all through the store, customers purchased as if booze would be made no more. The manager, Mike, was pulling his hair because business was so brisk the shelves were quickly getting bare. Wild Turkey, Ancient Age, Maker’s Mark and Jim Beam passed through the check-out so fast that the cashier was ready to scream. Trump’s bombing of boats is not justified

DEAR EDITOR: The premeditated killing of unarmed civilians in boats is not a legitimate act of either war or law enforcement. The Trump administration says they are protecting us from the flow of dangerous and illegal drugs. There are two problems with this. First, they have not released any evidence. We are supposed to just trust them. Second, even if the boaters really are drug runners, the appropriate response is to arrest them and give them a trial. The two-party system is failing us

DEAR EDITOR: It has become crystal clear with the recently Republican approved redistricting map, anti-abortion bills, anti-marijuana changes, and many other recent bills, that they have no interest in what the voters want or what is in our best interest. To resolve this issue, we need a new approach. We need new political third parties on the ballot that will represent voters who are left out of the current two-party system that is failing us. DEAR EDITOR: Please explain to me and my fellow Americans Trump’s war on drugs front-page article and his pardon for Honduras’ former president Juan Orlando Hernandez, sentenced last year to 45 years in prison for aiding drug traffickers. DEAR EDITOR: I applaud Australia for not allowing children under 16 on any social media. Psychologists always say their brains are not mature enough to be an adult for everything they do. Why does Mill Creek MetroParks have a $130,000 secretary at its board meetings? His name is Aaron Young.
