Why would you kill animals locked in a zoo?

DEAR EDITOR:

I’m sure we have a lot of hunters in the Mahoning Valley.

I already know some of them, and they are good men. I must ask all of you hunters something: when you go hunting, do you bait the deer? When you go hunting, do you lock any gates to keep the deer in the woods?

The babies were just born a couple of months ago and some are still nursing from mommy. Mommy still has milk. Do you kill a mother and child that have been baited, rounded up and locked into an area? Then, do you look them in the face and open fire?

I didn’t think you did, I know real men, and hunters want a challenge. I know you are respectful in the woods ,and I know you are honorable men.

This is what Aaron Young and Nick Derico are doing to the deer in Mill Creek Park, our Mill Creek Park and just the fact that they asked for more numbers of deer tells the people, with their eyes opened, they want extinction.

The deer are not overpopulated, diseased, starving or eating our park up. They will be slaughtering deer for 10 long years from Sept. 30 to the end of February, while you dare go in the park too. Maybe your children will be making plans with their friends for tomorrow?

All of this is happening while Aaron lives and resides in Braceville.

He also hires out-of-town contractors for any work that he wants done, never our locals.

When was the last time you walked, jogged or biked in the park?
