Craig T. Heinz 1978-2026

Born on Feb. 6, 1978, in Youngstown, he was a proud 1996 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Craig dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a firefighter with the Youngstown Fire Department. With 14 years of unwavering service, he was a beacon of courage and strength, often placing the safety of others above his own. After retiring from the fire department, Craig channeled his skills and passion into entrepreneurship, operating CTH Landscaping for 10 years. He was known as a “jack of all trades,” fixing anything he could get his hands on.

Craig will be remembered most fondly by his wife, Jessica Spohn Heinz; his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth O’Neill Heinz of Austintown; his brothers, Sean (Dee) Heinz of Texas, and Brian (Stacie) Heinz of Austintown; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Samantha, Avery, Logan and Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Craig’s life during a funeral service that will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2026, at the funeral home.
