Carole E. Gifford 1942-2025

Carole was born March 23, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of Harry Sr. and Mary Kuhn Cracraft.

She was a 1960 graduate of North High School.

Carole worked in manufacturing at Steel City in Youngstown for many years, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, Donald E. Gifford Sr., whom she married March 2, 1963, passed away Nov. 5, 2007.

Carole will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her son, Vincent (Heunjoo) Gifford of Suwanee, Georgia; her daughter, Mary (Christopher) Rodriguez of North Port, Florida; and three grandchildren, Jessica Groberg, Natalie Rodriguez and Ariella Rodriguez. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Becky Cracraft of Hubbard.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; son, Donald E. Gifford Jr.; sisters, Alberta June DeRaud, Harriet Jean Greathouse, Doris Mesaros and Janet Fair; and brother, Harry Cracraft Jr.

There will be services held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, with calling hours prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Carole will be laid to rest at Corner House Cemetery in Hubbard.
