Judith L. Allen 1938-2024

Judith was born March 29, 1938, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Leo and Susan Toth Danko.

A lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, she graduated from Struthers High School in 1956. Shortly after completing her education, Judith married William H. Allen on June 9, 1956; they shared 52 years of marriage until his passing, Feb. 7, 2009.

While Judith worked part-time through the years, her primary focus remained nurturing her family and creating a warm and inviting home. Her dedication to her family was the cornerstone of her life.

In her leisure time, she found joy in flower arranging, painting ceramics, and in more recent years, playing bingo.

Judith leaves to carry on her memory, her three daughters, Karen (James) Cohen of East Palestine, Sharon (David) Myers of New Port Richey, Florida, and Judith (Kevin) Anderson of Lisbon; four grandchildren, Jamie Lee (fiance, Kyle Proctor) Cohen of Michigan, Jack Benjamin (Jamie Lynn Gurtov) Cohen of Hawaii, Gregory (Hali) Myers of Florida and Rachael (Chris Ramos) Myers of Florida; and two great-grandchildren, Elli Myers, and Luis Ramos.

In addition to her parents and husband, Judith was preceded in death by brother, Thomas Danko.

Per Judith’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.

Inurnment will take place in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
