William T. Guidos 1938-2021

William was born in Warren on Oct. 14, 1938, the only child of Frank and Justine I. Woitek Guidos. He has lived in this area all his life.

William retired in 2001 following 43 years of employment as a furnace foreman for the Niles Glass Plant at the General Electric Co.

He was of the Catholic faith, attended Saint Stephen School and Niles McKinley High School and was a 1960s veteran of the Army. He enjoyed watching all sporting events, playing cards and the casino slot machines. He was a true lover of animals, especially dogs.

William will be sadly missed and is survived by his wife, Betty P. Evans Guidos, whom he married Jan. 9, 1966; a daughter, Christine Speziale, and her husband, Carmen; and grandson, Nicholas Speziale, all of Mineral Ridge.

At William’s request, a private burial will be Tuesday morning, Dec. 28, 2021, at the Kerr Cemetery Chapel with the Trumbull County Veterans Honor Guard.
