Kathy Gayan-Clawson, 1964-2019

Kathy was born June 27, 1964, in Youngstown, the daughter of Leonard E. Gayan and Shirley A. Palusak Gayan. She attended Canfield High School.

Kathy worked in housekeeping at Northside Hospital for many years and continued on to have her own cleaning business, where she built many great relationships.

She enjoyed attending Crossroads Church on Meridian Road.

Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed organizing their annual family garage sale, as well as taking her mom’s dog, Augie, on long walks.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley; her beloved daughters, Jacquelyn Massaro and Tiffany (Pat) Sandrock; four grandchildren, Derek, Gianna, Anthony and Kessa; her sisters, Jackie (John) Ross, Cindi (Tim) Cioffe, Terri Brogan, Tina (Jeff) Pickle, Kelly (Mike) Hutchins and Cheryl (Bob) Cleevely; her brother, Ron (Susan) Crum; and all of her loving nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Margaret Gayan, and Augustine and Harriet Palusak.

Family and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at Crossroads Church, 554 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, with a memorial service immediately following.
