Lawrence D. Baritell 1941-2019

He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Warren, the son of Dave and Mary Sicuro Baritell.

He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and employed for 25 years at General Motors Lordstown, retiring in 2002. Larry was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed golfing, casino trips, traveling spending time with family and was an avid Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees fan.

Memories of Larry will be carried on by his wife, Dolores “Dodie” Benedictus Baritell, whom he married July 27, 1979; four sons, Jeff Baritell of San Lorenzo, Calif., Tim (Terry) Baritell of Bend, Ore., Kevin (Michele Vlosich) Baritell of Howland and Matt (Heather) Baritell of Brookfield; a sister, Anna Marie (Gary) Holt of Champion; brothers-in-law Herb McMullen and Mike (Debbie) Benedictus; seven grandchildren, Ashlie, Shannen, Morgan, Kalin, Jessica, Kelsey and Ryan; a great-granddaughter, Journee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home, Niles. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Steve Stelle officiating.
