Task force offering reward for capture of Boardman suspect

BOARDMAN — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that would lead to the capture of fugitive Stacey Mahone. Mahone is wanted by the Boardman Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of strangulation, domestic violence and child endangering. Mahone, 24, is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. He has been known to frequent the Youngstown and Cleveland areas. The remains of the final missing Tennessee victim from Hurricane Helene were found two years after the storm devastated Appalachian mountain towns with floods that wiped away whole communities. Nancy Tucker, 76, disappeared along with her husband, Jimmy Tucker, when flooding from the Nolichucky River took their home in rural Washington County in the northeastern corner of Tennessee on Sept. 27, 2024.
