DEAR EDITOR: Remember the COVID-19 pandemic? Remember how frightened the ENTIRE world was in March of 2020? Our Republican Gov. Mike DeWine had already chosen Dr. Amy Acton to head the health department. He trusted her and together they got us through those uncertain days. However, once things settled, many of us no longer felt the fear or the need to salute the medical workers, teachers, truck drivers or cared to wear masks. Life went on, thankfully, for many of us. DEAR EDITOR: For 16 years the EPA Endangerment Finding helped protect our environment and our heath and was an important tool in fighting climate change. The “endangerment finding” is the EPA’s scientific and legal conclusion that the Clean Air Act requires regulation of greenhouse gas emissions to protect public health and welfare.
