DEAR EDITOR:

Remember the COVID-19 pandemic? Remember how frightened the ENTIRE world was in March of 2020? Our Republican Gov. Mike DeWine had already chosen Dr. Amy Acton to head the health department. He trusted her and together they got us through those uncertain days.

However, once things settled, many of us no longer felt the fear or the need to salute the medical workers, teachers, truck drivers or cared to wear masks. Life went on, thankfully, for many of us. Many were left to mourn those we lost.

I am truly thankful for the calm direction from Dr Acton during that time. She came from very humble beginnings and understands what it’s like to struggle.

I wonder what Vivek Ramaswamy was doing for his fellow man during that time besides earning lots and lots of cash while contemplating his run for president against DJT.
