Tax reductions may be available for storm damage
In light of Sunday’s damaging storms, Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meacham is reminding residents of the Destroyed or Damaged Real Property form (DTE 26), which is available on his office’s website. This form is for residents owning real property such as a home, garage or business. Anyone who has sustained structural damage may fill out an application. Damage reports play a critical role in ensuring property value assessments are accurate.
