Canfield man indicted on 10 counts of pandering obscenities

YOUNGSTOWN — Robert M. Zimmerman, of Palmyra Road in Canfield, was indicted last week on 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and one count of possessing criminal tools.

If convicted, Zimmerman, 42, could get more than 10 years in prison. The charges resulted from an investigation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, according to a Sept. 29 Ohio Attorney General news release that listed Zimmerman among others who were arrested.

The Task Force’s work on the Zimmerman case was part of a statewide human trafficking operation by more than 100 law enforcement agencies that resulted in the arrest of 135 people seeking to buy sex.

Others indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury last week were:

• Jose L. Giron Cintron, 53, Mahoning County jail, felonious assault with a firearm specification.

• Kevin Kuszewski, 35, Bedell Road, Berlin Center, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

• Michael Perkins, 35, Hollywood Avenue Boardman, aggravated burglary and two counts of felonious assault.

Kenneth Perkins, 33, Hollywood Avenue, Boardman, aggravated burglary and two counts of felonious assault.

• Marcus A. Rosario, 34, West Ravenwood Avenue, grand theft.

• Lawrence Anderson, 20, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, receiving stolen property and misdemeanor obstructing official business.

• Briante M. Donlow, 32, Fifth Avenue, assault and misdemeanor obstructing official business.

• Joanna Button, 39, Wilbur Avenue, theft.

• Janet Serrano, 54, North Osborne Avenue, grand theft.

• Harold J. Shuler Jr., 36, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession, fentanyl related compound possession and aggravated drug possession.

• Ross A. Chaplow, 43, Metz Road, Columbiana, aggravated drug possession.

• Daishon M. Johnson, 25, Afton Avenue, Boardman, aggravated drug possession.
