Two men indicted on rape charges in Mahoning County

YOUNGSTOWN — Two men — one 24 years old and one 57, were indicted on rape charges Thursday.

Ke’monie L. Colpetro, 24, of Compass West Drive in Austintown was indicted on rape, gross sexual imposition, importuning, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of possessing criminal tools.

If convicted, he could get more than 10 years in prison.

• Hiram Diaz, 57, of West Calla Road in Salem was indicted on three counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of rape in a superseding indictment.

• He was indicted in September of 2022 on a single charge. His superseding indictment adds three more charges. If convicted of the new charges, he could get more than 10 years in prison.

• Benjamin J. Cadiou, 44, Crittenden Avenue, Toledo, intimidation, retaliation, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and criminal trespass.

• Jun Wang, 49, Mahoning County jail, receiving stolen property, misdemeanor theft and misuse of credit cards.

• Kealin M. Jenkins, 34, Parker Street, failure to comply with the order of a police officer; receiving stolen property; two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them — OVI; and two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of a listed controlled substance or a listed metabolite of a controlled substance — OVI.

• Elijah J. Taylor, 44, Mistletoe Avenue, failure to comply with the order of a police officer and misdemeanor theft.

• Edward R. Jackson, 66, Myron Avenue, aggravated drug possession and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them — OVI.

• Arthur Perkins, 54, Hollywood Avenue, Boardman, two counts each of breaking and entering, criminal damaging or endangering and criminal trespass.

• Henry A. Garner, 60, Parkcliffe Avenue, theft.

• Destany M. McFerren, 18, Murray Avenue, Minerva, aggravated drug possession.

• Brian E. Ondic, 42, Lafayette Avenue, Sharon, Pa., cocaine trafficking.

• Cedric L. Peavy, 61, Benita Avenue, failure to verify address.

• Torree L. Jackson, 28, Taylor Road, Rogers, theft of drugs.

• Joshua D. McElroy, 33, Washington Boulevard, Boardman, failure to provide notice of change of address.

• Gregory R. Bass, 37, Cambridge Avenue, arson registration violation.
