WHAT: City council meeting Monday

PRESENT: President William Williams, Bonnie Viele, Robin Zambrini, Michael Mogg, Cathy Cummings, Jerome Crowe, Michael Kerr, Ryan Hallapy and Lorrie Brown

Council:

● Announced it is applying for a Natureworks grant to put restrooms in Waugh Park.

● Announced an electronics recycling drive 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8 at city hall.

● Discussed the reopening of St. Patrick Church, which happened Sunday.

● Approved a motion to rename a bridge on U.S. Route 62 as Hubbard’s First Responders Bridge.

●Approved a motion to rename East Park Avenue Bridge as the World War I and World War II Veterans Memorial Bridge.
