WARREN — A Girard man was indicted Thursday by a Trumbull County grand jury on 10 counts dealing with sexual offenses against two boys to whom police said he was giving gifts.

Jack Ryan Zeigler, 23, of Avon Avenue, was charged with three counts of rape that each carry potential life sentences, four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of compelling prostitution and one count of gross sexual imposition.

Court records show Zeigler is scheduled to be arraigned before Common Pleas Judge Ronald J. Rice on Sept. 22. Zeigler, who had posted 10 percent of a $100,000 bond on Aug. 30, remains on electronically monitored house arrest, according to records.

Police said the offenses were reported by a parent in late July and had been happening over a two-year span. The alleged gifts included gift cards and other items, reports state.
