Mahoning grand jury hands up indictments

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury handed up indictments of about a dozen people Thursday.

Among them is Matthew R. McCracken, 45, of Fifth Avenue, who is indicted on charges stemming from an arrest in June. He is facing charges of aggravated robbery, robbery, felonious assault, two counts of grand theft auto, receiving stolen property and obstructing official police business.

McCracken is accused of taking a vehicle from a gas station located at the corner of Youngstown-Poland Road and Midlothian Boulevard.

The vehicle was left running by the owner as he was entering the gas station. But when the victim attempted to remove McCracken from the vehicle, he ended up getting caught in the door and dragged several feet, according to a police report.

McCracken was later arrested after barricading himself inside a home on Sheridan Road, the report notes.

Other cases are:

• Michael D. Sletvold, 39, East Rockwell Road, illegal manufacturing or possessing explosives;

• Nastayasha Shamara Simmons-Moore, 24, Jean Street, Campbell, aggravated trespass and domestic violence;

• Desiree M. Bollinger, 35, West Wood Street, Lowellville, receiving stolen property and obstructing official business;

• Renea M. Jenkins, 29, Parkcliffe Avenue, aggravated trespass, two counts of misdemeanor assault, and criminal damaging or endangering.

• Katrina Monique, 38, East Avondale Avenue, receiving stolen property;

• Robert D. Duval Sr, 63, Idlewood Avenue, having weapons under disability and carrying a concealed weapon;

• Stephan Borbei, 30, address not available, two counts of assault and obstructing official business;

• Darnell Vickers, 58, Mahoning County jail, forgery and possessing criminal tools;

• Andre T. Campbell, 50, Hudson Avenue, possession of a fentanyl-related compound;

• Issac M. Harris, 19, of Cleveland, unauthorized use of a vehicle;

• Tyruss A. Patterson, 31, Verona Avenue, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs;

• Victor G. Green, 49, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and obstructing official business;

• Samquel Camacho-Sanchez, 42, Mahoning County jail, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
