Man arraigned in shooting of Youngstown home

YOUNGSTOWN — Juan A. Leonard, 32, of Mabel Street, was arraigned Monday in Youngstown Municipal Court on charges of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation in connection to a May 26 incident on Imperial Street on the West Side.
Police were called to Imperial Street at 11:50 a.m. and learned someone shot into the home. A victim identified Leonard as the shooter, according to a police report.
Police found three bullet holes in the home and spent bullet-shell casings at the end of the driveway. Judge Carla Baldwin set bond at $75,000 on the single charge.
