Upcoming Mahoning County graduation ceremonies
• BOARDMAN: June 7, in-person, one-family-at-a-time, diploma presentation in Spartan Stadium.
• CAMPBELL: May 28, 6 p.m., graduates will travel through Campbell in their caps and gowns. For the virtual ceremony, graduates will receive their diplomas in their cap and gowns from a board member with up to four family members. All graduates receiving diplomas, awards and giving speeches will be recorded for a video.
• CANFIELD: Friday, 2 to 7 p.m., school board members will hand out diplomas to graduates at their homes. May 29, a broadcast will show the remote graduations beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the high school parking lot.
• HUBBARD: May 28, a prerecorded virtual commencement will be shown at Stambaugh Auditorium;
• JACKSON MILTON: June 2, seniors will walk across the stage; last names A-Fa, 5 to 6 p.m.; Fi-McD, 6 to 7 p.m.; and Me-Wo, 7 to 8 p.m.
• LIBERTY: Friday, a prerecorded virtual commencement at Stambaugh Auditorium;
• LOWELLVILLE: May 31, 2 p.m., a “Drive-In-Theater” ceremony. One vehicle per graduate will arrive at the parking lot in the back by the cafeteria at 1:45 p.m.
• MCCTC: May 27, 8 a.m. for the Arts Academy; 10 a.m., for the Global Academy; noon for the iCONS Academy; 2 p.m., for the Machine Academy; and 4 p.m., for the Shield Academy. Ceremonies will take place in the MCCTC’s parking lot, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield, in two-hour increments.
• POLAND: May 30, 6 p.m. on the school’s football field.
• SOUTH RANGE: May 30. Seniors will be videotaped receiving their diplomas and will be accompanied by their parents as they walk across the stage. The graduates will drive up to the Raiders stadium one at a time starting at 2 p.m. to participate.
• SPRINGFIELD: June 7, 9 p.m., a parade along with the issuance of diplomas and a drive-in ceremony;
• URSULINE: 1 p.m. Sunday broadcast of videotaped graduation on Ursuline’s Facebook, YouTube and Ursuline.com;
• WEST BRANCH: May 31 in the fieldhouse. Students will sign up for a time slot between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to walk across the stage and receive their diploma in front of four guests. The entire graduation ceremony video will be released at 2 p.m. June 7.
• YOUNGSTOWN: Wednesday and Thursday. Students will be assigned times to walk across the Stambaugh Auditorium stage wearing their caps and gowns.
