LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — A fire damaged Kravitz Deli, 3135 Belmont Ave., this morning, but a co-owner allowed reporters inside this morning to see what appeared to be light damage and said she hoped it would be back open in a couple of days.
Co-owner Patty Rydarowicz said she was alerted to the fire at about 6:30 a.m. after an employee had called 911 for a fire on the flat-top stove where employees were making sandwiches.
“It was only at the flat top. It was a grease fire,” Rydarowicz said.
The chef and baker were working at the time, and they are fine, Rydarowicz said.
