Austintown Historical Society hosts tea party

AUSTINTOWN — The Austintown Historical Society hosted two tea parties April 26 at the Strock Stone House, which is a National Historic Landmark. Each table was adorned with a beautiful lace tablecloth and spring inspired place settings. Ceramic tea pots, cups and saucers were set out for guests and the menu consisted of a combination of savory and sweet delicacies. An assortment of flavored teas was also on the table. BEAVER CREEK FUNDRAISER: Birdfish Brewing Company and Friends of Beaver Creek State Park will team up Saturday for the Kayak Krawl fundraiser to support an all-accessible playground near the youth fishing pond at Beaver Creek State Park.
