Minimum wage increases
WARREN — The state minimum wage will increase to $8.70 per hour for non-tipped employees and $4.35 per hour for tipped employees Wednesday.
The increase is part of an amendment to the Ohio Constitution voters approved in November 2006 that states the wage will increase on the first of every year by the rate of inflation.
The 2019 minimum wage is is $8.55 per hour for non-tipped employees and $4.30 for tipped employees.
