AUSTINTOWN — The Austintown Local Schools Athletic Department is giving back to local restaurants with “Falcon Nation Feeding Frenzy,” which will raffle nearly 600 gift cards.

The gift cards to Austintown restaurants were purchased through donations from Austintown booster groups and staff members. The cards are being raffled nightly to community members on the Austintown Fitch Athletics Facebook page.

“Our local restaurants never hesitate to support our booster groups and district athletic programs so I wanted to find a way to support them during a difficult time. We are overwhelmed by the response we are receiving,” said athletic director Jim Penk.

More than 400 community members have been entered in the free drawing since March 27, with participants growing daily. Austintown residents can email Penk at jpenk@austintownschools.org to enter the drawing.

The Austintown Athletic Department will not receive profits from the “Feeding Frenzy.”
