Liberty police seek suspect in dirt bike chase Wednesday

LIBERTY — Township police are looking for a suspect in a chase that ended with the person fleeing into a wooded area on foot after crashing a dirt bike early Wednesday. According to a police report, an officer traveling southbound on Belmont Avenue spotted a man riding a black dirt bike northbound with no taillights or license plate. Two lawsuits filed in crash that killed Canfield state trooper

YOUNGSTOWN — The estate of Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper Nicholas Cayton has filed a lawsuit against the driver of the concrete truck who hit the back of Cayton’s cruiser Oct. 16 on state Route 11 in Canfield, killing Cayton.
