Myles readies post-‘Voice’ and post-breakup album

Breakups are painful, but for an artist they can be inspirational. A crowd favorite at Morgan Myles’ recent concerts is “Nobody in Nashville Wants You Here,” a song about her breakup with her fiance earlier this year. “I learned that my ex-hole decided to stay in my teeny town of Hendersonville, Tennessee, five minutes down the road, which is just complete psycho,” Myles said. Youngstown State University will bring a trio of prominent speakers to the area in September and October. Daymond John, CEO of clothing company FUBU and one of the investors on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will speak at 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at Stambaugh Auditorium for the Thomas Colloquium. Biographer Wil Haygood will speak at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at Beeghly Center for the Centofanti Symposium. Cirque mixes stunts, horror

After hosting the family friendly Cirque Italia in July, Southern Park Mall will have a more adult-oriented circus set up its tent in the parking lot this weekend. Paranormal Cirque III is billed as "horrifying yet seductive” with a cast of zombies, erotic witches, sexy vampires and ghosts performing acrobatics, contortion, aerial stunts and other death-defying stunts.
