A PBS documentary on the McKinley National Memorial in Canton will be part of the next William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society’s Memories of a Lifetime program.

“Monumental Devotion: The McKinley National Memorial” focuses on McKinley’s life as president and the construction of a monument in Canton as his final resting place. Stephanie Virgallito, digital marketing and community engagement specialist at PBS Western Reserve, will speak.

The program starts 10 a.m. Aug. 19 at Denny’s Restaurant meeting room, 4020 Belmont Ave., Liberty. Admission is $5 for McGuffey members and $10 for nonmembers and includes refreshments and live entertainment. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 330-726-8277.
