Gustovich – Sekola

Sarella Gustovich and Sean Sekola were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony Feb. 22, 2020, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald. The Rev. Edward Brienz served as officiant.

A reception followed in the evening at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Jeffry Gustovich of McDonald. Mollie and Philip Sekola of Girard are parents of the groom.

Natalie Gustovich served as maid of honor for her sister, with Mary Chaffin as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Katie Sekola and Caroline Sekola, sisters of the groom; Aubrey Gustovich and Kelsey Gustovich, cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Penelope Gardner, cousin of the bride, and Blake Chaffin.

Tom McClurkin performed the duties of best man for the groom. Groomsmen included Dom Dundee, Chad Nasci, Colin Sekola, brother of the groom, Nick Tamarkin and Tyler Totani. Ring bearers included Dominic Gustovich, Donato Gustovich, Vinny Gustovich and Luca Gustovich, cousins of the bride.

The new Mrs. Sekola is a graduate from Youngstown State University with her associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. She is a dental hygienist at local offices and clinical instructor at YSU.

Mr. Sekola is a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He is finishing his bachelor’s degree at YSU, majoring in political science and minoring in criminal justice and psychology.

Following a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Canfield.
