Nursing home, prison virus cases near zero
The number of cases of COVID-19 appear to have dropped to nearly zero at nursing homes, long-term care facilities and prisons across the Mahoning Valley. The one Youngstown nursing home that had a high number of cases last week (13 patient cases and one staff case) now has just two patient cases. Data reported by the Ohio Department of Health for many other facilities showing low numbers of cases appear not to have been updated since last week — but are assumed still to be low.
