Fitch rolls Chaney; Liberty, Canfield cruise

¯ FITCH 77, CHANEY 22: AUSTINTOWN — The Falcons scored a combined 48 points in the middle quarters to roll past the Cowboys in a non-league contest.
Jocelyn Jourdan scored 15 points to lead Fitch (3-9), which had 10 players dent the scoring column. Zayda Creque supplied 13 points and Chelsie Wheeler and Kara Pirone tacked on 12 points apiece.
Cazhia Jackson netted 11 for Chaney (1-6) and Laionia Williams added six points.
¯ MATHEWS 61, HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN 30: VIENNA — The host Mustangs used a 14-4 scoring advantage in the second quarter to take a 27-13 lead at halftime and extended the margin from there in beating the Lions.
Ashley Deans (19), Brooke Bauer (12) and Bella Greenwood (10) all scored in double digits, as nine players inked the scoring column for Mathews (3-3) in non-league contest.
Madi Matthews scored 14 and Sophia Stambaugh contributed 10 for the Lions (4-9).
¯ LIBERTY 61, RICHMOND HEIGHTS 27: LIBERTY — Only leading six after the first quarter, the Leopards defense put Richmond Heights on lockdown in the middle two quarters, outscoring them 32-7 to pull away and get a big win.
Demi Watson led Liberty with 14 points and Aaliyah Foster scored 12.
The Leopards move to 4-3 on the season with the win.
¯ CANFIELD 50, LOUISVILLE 30: CANFIELD — The Cardinals move to 6-6 on the year after a victory over Louisville Monday.
Abby Muckleroy hit five 3-pointers and led the team with 17 points. Alyssa Dill scored 15 and Kate Sahli added 10.
Canfield hosts Howland on Wednesday.
¯ WATERLOO 63, SPRINGFIELD 43: ATWATER — Waterloo hit nine 3-pointers in the first quarter, scoring 35 points and putting the Tigers in a hole they couldn’t escape.
Brooke Waldeck led the Vikings with 28 points.
Leading for Springfield was Jacey Mullen who scored 21 points. Kylee Kosek had eight.
¯ McDONALD 75, MINERAL RIDGE 12: McDONALD — The Blue Devils outscored Mineral Ridge 45-6 in the first half for a huge rivalry win.
Sophia Constantino led McDonald with 18 points. Maddy Howard scored 17, Molly Howard scored 11 and Taylor Tuchek chipped in 10.
Danielle Aulet, Candice Miller and Isabella Carkido each scored four points for the Rams.

¯ STRUTHERS 74, CLEVELAND VILLA ANGELA-ST. JOSEPH 49: CLEVELAND — The Widcats jumped ahead early and never wavered to down the Vikings at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
Struthers led 20-9 after one period and 39-18 at halftime. Brandon Washington was one of four Wildcats scoring in double digits with 14 points. Aidan Slocum (13), Trey Metzka (12) and Keaton Kimble (10) followed and Ronnie Leaonard added nine points.
Anthony Ivey scored 23 points to pace VA-SJ.
