AUSTINTOWN FITCH 42, CLEVELAND BENEDICTINE 14: EUCLID — The Falcons move to 5-0 after a big road win against Benedictine.

Devin Sherwood continued his great season with a 262 passing yard, four touchdown performance against the Bengals.

Sherwood finished the game with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.

Todd Simons was the primary target for Sherwood with six receptions for 111 yards.

The Falcons pulled away in the second quarter by scoring three touchdowns. A 66-yard pass from Sherwood to Nate Leskovac, a 29-yard pass to Simons and finally a 1-yard run from Simons.

Fitch closes out their regular season at home against Steubenville.

¯ WEST BRANCH 34, EAST LIVERPOOL 28: BELOIT — The Potters struck first, but West Branch had the last laugh with a goal line run to seal the game.

East Liverpool’s Devin Toothman got on the board with an 11-yard rush to score.

East Liverpool outgained the Warriors on the ground 208-81, but West Branch quarterback Brock Hillyer threw for 223 yards as compared to Howie Williams who threw 36.

Hillyer finished the night with three passing touchdowns.

West Branch (5-0) ends the season with an undefeated Canton South team.

¯ SOUTH RANGE 40, STRUTHERS 6: BEAVER TOWNSHIP — The Raiders continue their strong 2020 run after a big win over Struthers.

South Range quarterback Michael Patrone kicked off the Raiders’ 20-point first quarter with a 3-yard run. An 82-yard pick-six by Luke Crumbacher on the following Struthers possession extended the South Range lead. Patrone closed out the first quarter with a 39-yard touchdown pass to Connor Jones.

Patrone would throw two more touchdown passes in the second quarter to go up 33-0 at halftime.

The Wildcats got on the board at the end of the third quarter on a 51-yard pass from Dylan Greenwood to Josh Marshall.

Early in the fourth, Jake Starkey ran in the endzone to extend the Raiders lead once more.

Patrone finished the game with 157 passing yards and 82 rushing yards.

South Range (5-0) closes the regular season against Hubbard while Struthers hosts Poland.
