Monday, Struthers can added Northeast-8 Conference champions as the Wildcats won their first conference title since capturing an AAC crown in 2012 after beating Girard.

Struthers went on a 24-11 run in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Jared Laczko led the Wildcats (18-3) with 18 points — one of four double-figure scorers.

Aidan Slocum had 15 points, while Trey Metzka had 12 points and Carson Ryan added 11.

Thomas Cardiero paced Girard (9-12) with game-high 20 points, while Christian Graziano added 14.

¯ SOUTH RANGE 64, JEFFERSON 37: JEFFERSON — Izzy and Gabby Lamparty combined for 34 points as the Raiders handled the Falcons in this Northeast-8 contest.

Izzy had a game-high 20 points, while Gabby added 14.

Lexi Giles added 11 for South Range (16-6, 12-2 NE-8), while Bree Kohler added 10.

Ava Contenza put in 12 for Jefferson (11-11, 5-9).
