Raiders, Struthers, Campbell cruise

¯ SOUTH RANGE 33, CANTON CENTRAL CATHOLIC 0: CANTON — Senior quarterback Isaac Allegretto threw three touchdown passes in the second quarter and ran for two more scores in the fourth as the Raiders (2-1) rolled.

Allegretto hooked up with three different receivers — Luke Crumbacher, Ian Toy and Chris Brooks — as South Range opened a 19-0 lead at the half.

Allegretto finished 16 of 19 passing for 169 yards. He also ran for 50 yards. Dylan Dominguez ran for 86 yards and caught three passes for 33 yards.

Jacob Gehring added three catches for 60 yards and Anthony DeLucia caught four balls for 29 yards.

¯ STRUTHERS 32, WEST BRANCH 12: BELOIT — Adrian Brown led a Struthers’ rushing attack that amassed 358 yards and five touchdowns in a non-conference victory over the Warriors.

Brown ran for 221 yards and three TDs on 14 carries. Tyrese Hawkins added 74 yards and one TD on 21 attempts. The Wildcats (2-1) also held West Branch (0-3) to 161 total yards — including just 18 on the ground.

Struthers led 14-6 at half and pulled away with a pair of third-quarter touchdowns.

¯ MASSILLON JACKSON 49, BOARDMAN 14: MASSILLON — Boardman (1-2) was outgained 376-27 in the first half and outscored 42-7 by halftime in the road loss.

The Polar Bears (2-1) amassed 18 first downs, running 41 plays, in the first half. Boardman had two first downs and 10 plays from scrimmage.

The Spartans got their touchdowns on a 95-yard kickoff return by Terrance Thomas and a 20-yard interception return by Anthony Hightower.

¯ CAMPBELL 47, EAST PALESTINE 7: CAMPBELL — The Red Devils scored two touchdowns in the final 3:48 of the first to pull away from the Bulldogs.

Already up 21-7, James Shaffer punched it into the end zone on a four-yard run, and then quarterback Christian Stores connected on passes of 64 and 20 yards in the final two minutes give Campbell (2-1) a 34-point advantage into the break. That was all the Red Devils needed, as they tacked on Shaffer’s three score of the game in the third quarter.

Campbell outgained East Palestine (0-3) 414-93, 237-41 on the ground. Shaffer paced the Red Devils with 87 yards on 10 carries, while Kayvon moore amassed 72 yards on to carries with a score.

Stores went 11 of 15 through the air for 177 yards to complement the rushing attack.

¯ JACKSON-MILTON 35, WINDHAM 14: NORTH JACKSON — Sean Lengyel ran for 262 yards and five touchdowns, the final two allowing Jackson-Milton to pull away from the Bombers.

The Blue Jays (3-0) led 21-0 as Lengyel had TD runs of 1, 53 and 4, but Windham (1-2) got back into the game thanks to Bert Jones. He caught a 51-yard pass from Wyatt Hanshaw for a TD, and then ran for a 50-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to make it 21-14.

Lengyel put the game away with TD runs of 11 and 63. Noah Kramer added 50 yards on nine carries for Jackson-Milton.
