Broadview Heights 54, Austintown Fitch 32 — At Wooster, the Fitch Falcons’ season came to an end after their offense had trouble finding its footing in its district championship. The Falcons (10-13) were limited to 13 points in the first half, trailing 26-13 at halftime. Senior Marcel Finkley led the Falcons with 10 points. Fellow senior Carter Owens had eight points, and junior Brady Evans chipped in six.
DIVISION IV
Northeast 2
Canfield 35, West Branch 28 — At North Ridgeville Academic Center, the Cardinals bested the Warriors to claim the district crown. It wasn’t a high-scoring affair, but the Cardinals (21-4) managed to keep the Warriors (13-12) at arms length throughout the day. They outscored West Branch 13-9 in the second quarter to take a 22-15 lead at halftime, and that was enough breathing room. Canfield’s Landon Shina led all scorers with 12 points. Jake Delisio added six points and Ben Weaver and Drew Shapiro each scored five. Cooper Anderson was the Warriors’ top scorer with 11 points, Gavin Gregory chipped in eight points and Joey Jackson finished with five. The Cardinals will travel to Canton Memorial Fieldhouse on Tuesday to face Warrensville Heights in their regional semifinal at 8 p.m.
DIVISION VI

Dalton 61, Grand Valley 54 — At Salem High School, the Mustangs fell in a deficit early, and despite inching back, Dalton pulled away each time they got close. They just didn’t have enough to get over the top. Braden Hart finished with a game-high 25 points for the Mustangs, and teammate Carter Turk ended the night with 17.
DIVISION VII
Northeast 1
Cornerstone Christian 84, Western Reserve 44 — In a tripleheader at Smithville, the Blue Devils’ campaign came to a close in the first game of the day. Cornerstone Christian just had too much firepower for the Devils to contend with, and a 31-point third quarter by CCA extended their lead to 64-21 ending into the final period. Junior Connor Cochran was the leading scorer for the Blue Devils (15-10), finishing with 19 points and making all three of the team’s 3-pointers, and classmate Josh Klasic tallied 16 points. Cornerstone Christian’s Quinn Kwansiak made 11 threes on his way to a 53-point performance. Kwansiak became the state’s all-time leading scorer. He has 3,210 points, passing former Ohio State Buckeye Jon Diebler, who set the record of 3,208 in 2007.
