Poland 55, Chippewa 40 — In Wednesday’s Division V district semifinal, the Bulldogs toppled the Chipps and advanced to the district final Saturday. The contest started off slow, but the Bulldogs kicked it up a notch in the second quarter to take a commanding lead. Leading the charge for Poland was Oliver McCully who hauled in a game-high 22 points. In the loss, Burk Hughes paced Chippewa with 11 points. Poland will take on Cleveland Heights Lutheran East in the district final.
Bristol 55, Kidron Central Christian 47 — The Panthers earned the win over the Comets in Wednesday’s Division VII district semifinal. Bristol found itself trailing in the fourth quarter, but the Panthers rallied to post 20 points in the frame to claim the contest. Leading the way for Bristol was Kaiden Kohler with 21 points and Croc Thorp with 15 points. In the loss, Drew Badertscher and Bryan Martin led Kidron CC with 15 and 12 points, respectively. Bristol takes on Kennedy in Saturday’s district final.
Heartland Christian 69, Fairport Harding 66 — The Lions claimed the close contest over the Skippers to earn a spot in the district final. No statistics for either team were submitted. Heartland Christian will square up against Hillsdale Saturday in the district final.
Western Reserve 46, Mathews 30 — The Blue Devils earned the upset win over the Mustangs to claim the Division V district semifinal. No statistics for either team were submitted. Western Reserve will take on top-seeded Cornerstone Christian in Saturday’s district final.
Kennedy 71, Badger 27 — The Eagles made light work of the Braves in the Division VII district semifinal to earn a spot in Saturday’s district final. No statistics for either team were submitted. Kennedy will face Bristol in the district final contest.
Chagrin Falls 69, Garfield 53 — The Tigers toppled the G-Men to earn the win in the Division V district semifinal. No statistics for either team were submitted.
South Range 68, Crestwood 43 — The Raiders handedly topped the Red Devils to claim the Division V district semifinal. Luke Rohan showed up in a big way for South Range, clipping five made triples en route to a game-high 35 points. In the loss, Steven Lincoln led with 11 points. South Range will take on Norwayne in the district final.
Norwayne 80, Pymatuning Valley 39 — The Bobcats dominated the Lakers Wednesday in the Division V district semifinal. No statistics for either team were submitted. Norwayne will face off against South Range in the district final.
Akron Hoban 73, East 36 — The Knights dismantled the Golden Bears in Wednesday’s Division III district semifinal. No statistics for either team were submitted.
