51st annual Al Beach All-Star Game to be held Tuesday at Canfield

CANFIELD — The 51st annual Al Beach All-Star game will be held Tuesday March 7 at Canfield High School.

This game honors the best senior boys and girls high school basketball players in the Mahoning Valley. The girls game is scheduled to tip at 6 p.m., with the boys game set to follow at about 7:30 p.m.

A three-point contest will also be held between some of the area’s best shooters.

The girls’ red team, coached by Canfield head coach Matt Reel and staff, consists of: Fitch’s Zayda Creque, Canfield’s Carlie Harmon, Girard’s Sieasia Triplett, Newton Falls’ Natalee Albert, Lowellville’s Savannah Procick, Poland’s Ariana Daniels, Boardman’s Gia Triveri, Girard’s Allison Durkin, Struthers’ Faith Stellato, Ursuline’s Alayna Smith, Struthers’ Chloe Neider, Canfield’s Kate Sahli, East’s Samair Colon, Canfield’s Abby Muckleroy and Lakeview’s Maggie Pavlansky.

The girls’ white team, coached by Springfield head coach John Matisi and staff, includes: Salem’s Kami Rohm, Liberty’s Aaliyah Foster and Demi Watson, Brookfield’s Sophia Hook, Mathews’ Brooke Dibell, Springfield’s Madison Lesnak, Cardinal Mooney’s Maria Fire, Mathews’ Brooke Bauer, Grand Valley’s Carly James, Salem’s Abbie Davidson, McDonald’s Alivia Morrison, South Range’s Emma Cunningham, Springfield’s Jacey Mullen, Niles’ Abbey Reed and Western Reserve’s Brooke Schantz.

One of the boys’ teams, coached by Crestview head coach Rick Gates and staff, includes Fitch’s Gianni Maley, Struthers’ Nick DelGratta, Chaney’s Jason Hewlett, Crestview’s Kirkland Miller, Boardman’s Brady DePietro, Salam’s Caden Swiger, Chaney’s Josiah Gonzalez, Lowellville’s Vinny Ballone, Boardman’s Demarr Clark, Cardinal Mooney’s Jaxon Menough, Springfield’s Seandelle Gardner, Lowellville’s Anthony Lucente, Poland’s JP Genova, South Range’s Ayden Leon and Beaver Local’s Owen Bzinak.

The other boys team, coached by Girard head coach Graig Hannon and staff, includes Newton Fall’ Mac Heidet, Harding’s Jacob Lawrence, Brookfield’s Isaiah Jones, Grand Valley’s Nate Boiarski, Girard’s Gus Johnson, Niles’ Keyshon Talley, Jackson Milton’s Aaron Romigh, McDonald’s Greg Constantino, Ursuline’s Vinny Flauto, Brookfield’s Donovan Pawlowski, Valley Christian’s Jon’Trell Mixon, Girard’s Thomas Cardiero, Badger’s Bradley Hamilton, LaBrae’s Blake Kahnell and Ursuline’s Terrance Pankey.
