DEAR EDITOR: You would think U.S. Rep. Mike Rulli might know a thing or two about grocery stores and might have ideas on how the government can help bring down the cost of goods. I guess you would be wrong or maybe he is too busy buttering up to Trump. To date, no bills sponsored by Rulli have even been designed to help Ohioans. In fact, they place restrictions on Ohio citizens and are only designed to please Trump. Perhaps Mike is thinking ahead to his next job? STEVE SOLAK Youngstown

DEAR EDITOR: What’s in a word? We all know that words can be used to help us or hurt us. Words can even save us sometimes. The word save is an especially important word. It is loaded. The acronym SAVE which stands for Safeguard American Voter Eligibility is especially loaded. President Trump has demanded Congress pass the SAVE Act that would require voters to present hard copy proof of citizenship in order to register and/or vote and also to mandate that all absentee ballots be received by voting day. Seven American service members have perished.
