DEAR EDITOR: Democrats are in mourning today after Trump’s bill passed in the House. The tax breaks Trump gave you in his first administration will stay in place. Even Joe Biden knew enough to keep them. Medicare, and Social Security will be secure. DEAR EDITOR: I had a problem with my riding mower. When I hit a tree root, the belt came off. It is so sad that we can’t trust anyone to help you when you need help. Because some people you can’t trust our country has lost its love for each other. No love for God or neighbor. My neighbors are great. They help me cutting my grass when my mower was down. DEAR EDITOR: Cal Thomas calls people who have defaulted on student loans deadbeats, and implies many never intended to repay the loan. He compares student loans to car loans or mortgages, but there are several differences. When applying for a car loan the borrower must talk to a loan specialist and qualify for the loan, meaning he has an established way to repay. He walks away with property or a car as collateral.
